The kimono thing is something I made all by myself, no pattern and no sewing knowledge whatsoever! The fabric was already tie dyed and one day (added to my very very very long to-do-one-day list) I'd like to try replicate this acid looking tie dye effect with other colours like acid green or light blue, and make more kimonos but maybe ankle length.
The lamest thing about living in New Zealand is that our seasons are opposite to pretty much the rest of the world. I've started this new strategy of buying my summer clothes now, even though its the middle of winter over here. Otherwise everything I like sells out by the time I'm ready for it. I almost missed out on these Motor City shorts by UNIF, I had to scour the internet for hoooours until I found an online store that had one left in my size. They are AHHHHMAZING. and the quality is soooo good. I can not wait another 4months until summer to wear thesm so I did the tights underneath thing. I don't really like wearing super short shorts with tights though - I dunno, it always makes me feel like a prossy. But when I see others wear that combo I don't think they look like prostitutes, weird. Can't wait for summer!
